Exercise Program for People Who Use Prosthetic Devices

Our next Veteran Student Association meeting is set for Thursday February 23rd at 12:15pm in Smyth Hall room #20. Lunch will be served!! Also, please remember this is an open meeting to the entire campus, so please feel free to bring a friend, and remember family is welcome as well.
The Agenda of the meeting is as follows:
- Defining the club's mission
- Identifying the needs & goals of veterans and their families within the Nazareth community
- Discuss the election of officer's for the club (If you are interested in running for office please let me know)
- Discuss our membership as a club with the Student Veteran's of America (SVA) and what this specifically means
- Provide information on how each veteran here at Nazareth can apply for an individual membership with the SVA (it's free)
- Discuss how once a student is registered with the SVA that they are then able to apply for scholarships, which right now the SVA has eight $10,000 Google scholarships to give away, there are also employment opportunities
- Discuss the VFW in Perinton
- Discuss volunteer opportunities
- Discuss certain fund raising ideas such as; tee-shirts, silicone bracelets, a cell phone recycling program on campus, raffles, and more
- Discuss the interest in future events such as Red Wings games with the family, picnics, SeaBreeze, etc. Read story
